Lady skippers are much more than an auxiliary. They meet once a month, 9 months out of the year for a lunch at different restaurants. There is usually some type of presentation on a wide variety of subjects for the group. You don't have to be a squadron member to join.

Reel People is our fishing group. They meet for breakfast and bragging every other Friday and go out on organize fishing trips. You don't have to be a squadron member to participate just an interest in fishing.

The Sails is our sailing group. The meet every other Saturday for a light breakfast and discuss their experiences and have several outings during the year.

The Paddlers is our canoe and kayak group. They plan several outings during the spring and summer. During the off season they meet for breakfast with our Sails group, since we share a lot of members. Most of the trips are on flat water lakes or easy streams or rivers. They also present a USPS Paddlesmart Seminar. You don't have to be a squadron member to join.

The Water Trails is our squadron's trailer group. Alot of the members cross over into the other groups, but the one thing they have in common is that they have trailerable boats. They travel during the year to lakes like Mayfield and Riffe Lakes as well as trips to the Puget Sound area. This group is made up of squadron members.

Although this is actually a Sea Scouts ship and is part of the Boy Scouts of America, our squadron sponsors the ship and has several members who volunteer their time to the Ship. The scouts also can have an apprentice membership with our squadron and participate in the education program.
